Palos Verdes resident Jackson Berman supervises as his mom Shaana puts the finishing touches on one of the hearts on the autism awareness lifeguard tower at Torrance Beach on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Scott Snyder peels away a stencil while working to paint the autism awareness lifeguard tower he designed at Torrance Beach on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
