Meanwhile, DOH officer-in-charge Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire has expressed hope that there would be no increase in cases as the three-day celebration of the Feast of Black Nazarene concluded.“Although dikit-dikit sila most of them are wearing facemasks,” Vergeire said in a media forum. “Hopefully di pumalo ang cases because of this event,” Vergeire said citing, there were similar events like May national and local 2022 elections, campaign sortie, among others, but cases remain low.
