Two hoax incidents were called into the county dispatch center in two days.

Authorities in Cape May County said they responded twice over the weekend to the same borough for two “swatting” incidents, one falsely claiming a murder had been committed, the other stating a bomb had been planted in a hotel.

Borough police and detectives responded, along with the Cape May County Sheriff’s Office’s K9 unit. No bomb was found and the call was determined to be a hoax, police said.
