Police in San Jose are investigating after a woman was killed and a child injured in a hit-and-run collision on Sunday night.The pair were walking a dog, in a marked crosswalk, when they were hit by a car about 6:50 p.m. near Blossom Hill Road and Leigh Avenue, police said Monday.Initially police reported that the woman was a bicyclist, but said later that she was a pedestrian.The child was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
