Julie Montague-Ayers is 67 years old and has dementia. She has been missing for more than two weeks, said her sister.
Police have searched for her by helicopter and drone.
Her friends and family said that Julie and her husband were lifelong religious ministers before dementia forced her to retire. Sunday’s Interfaith Prayer Vigil and Say Her Name Ceremony is at 3 p.m. at the Maritime Heritage Park Amphitheater in Bellingham at 500 West Holly Street. If anyone knows something about her disappearance they are asked to call the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office.
