Winter weather will linger in parts of Utah on Saturday, prompting weather advisories and warnings across the state.
Southern Utah will bear the brunt of the storm, with a Winter Storm Warning in effect for the southern mountains since early Oct. 19, remaining in place until noon. National Weather Service forecasters predict an additional three inches of heavy, wet snowfall, with up to a foot of accumulation possible in the Boulder Mountain area.A Winter Weather Advisory is also in effect for Monticello until 5 a.m. Sunday.
Additionally, a freeze warning was issued Saturday morning for the north and south ends of the Wasatch Front and central Duchesne County, with sub-freezing temperatures expected to linger until 10 a.m., dropping as low as 30 degrees.-----------------------------------
