Verizon Communications Inc. VZ said Friday that it has appointed Anthony Skiadas, its vice president and controller, to ascend to the role of chief financial officer starting at the beginning of May. He will succeed Matthew Ellis, who is “leaving the company to pursue other interests.” Skiadas has been in his current position at Verizon since 2013. The company further noted that Mary-Lee Stillwell will take on Skiadas’ role of senior vice president and controller once he becomes the CFO.
