Piedra and Williams capped their career with a No. 1 doubles title. Piedra, who has more than 160 combined singles and doubles wins in his HA career, was appreciative of his teammates. Buntin won state titles at No. 5 singles last year and at No. 6 singles in 2022 when HA competed in 1A-2A-3A. “That is a kid he has played three times this year and he came up short every time, so for him to come through at state was huge,” Hart said of beating LAMP’s Park.
