Regional Highway Patrol Group 7 personnel apprehended three men pushing a stolen motorcycle on Menciano Road in Dumaguete City. The suspects, identified by their aliases Lorenz, Ron, and JC, were arrested after the motorcycle's owner, Jocelyn, reported it missing. Upon inspection, the motorcycle's engine and chassis numbers matched Jocelyn's registration documents. This is the first time the suspects have been arrested, and authorities suggest the theft may have been impulsive.

THREE men were caught pushing a stolen motorcycle by personnel from the Regional Highway Patrol Group 7 on Menciano Road, Barangay Taclobo, Dumaguete City , Negros Oriental around 11:30 p.m. of January 21, 2025.The suspects were identified by their aliases: Lorenz, a resident of Barangay Buntis, Bacong; Ron, and JC, both from Dumaguete City .

The Dumaguete City Police immediately raised an alarm and alerted the HPG-Negros Oriental, which quickly responded.While patrolling, HPG 7 personnel spotted the three men pushing a motorcycle on Menciano Road, matching the description given by the victim. This led to the suspects' immediate arrest.Upon further inspection, the motorcycle's engine and chassis numbers matched the registration documents held by the victim.
