Prime Video's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 has received the official trailer for the hit epic drama's upcoming return.

“In Season 2, Sauron has returned. Cast out by Galadriel, without an army or ally, the rising Dark Lord must now rely on his own cunning to rebuild his strength and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power, which will allow him to bind all the peoples of Middle-earth to his sinister will,” reads the synopsis.
Based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s iconic Lord of the Rings novel series, the show is developed and executive produced by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, who are serving as showrunners. Executive producers are Lindsey Weber, Callum Greene, Justin Doble, Jason Cahill, Gennifer Hutchison, and Charlotte Brändström. It is produced by Kate Hazell, Helen Shang, Clare Buxton, Andrew Lee, Glenise Mullins, and Matthew Penry-Davey.
