Prime Video releases a new video promoting The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2, which premieres this coming August.
. The video sees the cast tease a “very dark, exciting” sophomore outing for the J. R. R. Tolkien-inspired series, which returns this coming August.“Sauron has returned. Cast out by Galadriel, without army or ally, the rising Dark Lord must now rely on his own cunning to rebuild his strength and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power, which will allow him to bind all the peoples of Middle-earth to his sinister will,” the official synopsis reads.
The series stars Morfydd Clark as Galadriel, Lenny Henry as Sadoc Burrows, Sara Zwangobani as Marigold Brandyfoot, Dylan Smith as Largo Brandyfoot, Markella Kavenagh as Elanor “Nori” Brandyfoot, Robert Aramayo as Elrond, Benjamin Walker as Gil-galad, and Ismael Cruz Córdova as Arondir.
