The Hurry-Up: Four-star 2025 CB Jett White says Ohio State ranks 'near the top' for him after he received an offer Monday and OSU offers 4-star 2025 TE Eli Owens.
The highlight of his visit was meeting with cornerbacks coach Tim Walton, who extended an Ohio State offer to the top-65 prospect.
Monday was White’s first time speaking with Walton, but he had a prior relationship with Ohio State program assistant Gerren DuHart, who joined the team's staff in the offseason after coaching at Michigan State. White said DuHart introduced him to Walton on the visit. “My best ability would be playing boundary cornerback, bump and run with my length and reach,” White said. “I can get hands on wide receivers, disrupt timing and smother a wideout’s catch radius.”
