TheConjuring is moving to television, as a streaming series is set to come to the newly named Max But will James Wan be involved?
\nThe Conjuring will be getting a new drama series on the newly minted streaming service Max, the combined services formally known as HBO Max and Discovery+. There are two interesting notes here: series producer Peter Safran will executive produce the series, while series creator and producer James Wan is 'in talks' to executive produce as well.
'\nCredit New Line\nThe Conjuring Was Always Going To Continue, With Or Without Wan\nThe franchise has combined to gross over $2 billion at the box office, making it one of the most successful franchises, period, let alone in the genre of horror. To think that WB would just say goodbye to one of their biggest box office franchises, just because Wan may not be there, would be foolish. Especially since the last two years have proven that horror films are the safest bet in Hollywood.
