President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. delivers his message to the Palarong Pambansa delegates during its opening ceremony at the Cebu City Sports Center.President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday lauded the successful run of the recently concluded Palarong Pambansa in Cebu, and assured the public during his third State of the Nation Address that the government will continue supporting these health-enhancing sports programs.
The President remarked that grassroots and sports-for-all programs are back in the mainstream, catering to Filipinos of all ages. “As we speak, 28 of our finest athletes are competing in Paris now for the glory of the Philippines. Let us wish them well and the best of luck,” Marcos added. Meanwhile, the remaining six Filipino athletes will vye for gold at the Paralympics which will be kicking off in August.
