PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has named a Supreme Court official to the Governance Commission for Government-Owned or -Controlled Corporations or GOCCs (GCG).
Brian Keith Hosaka, assistant court administrator and Public Information Office chief will be assuming the post of commissioner, according to a statement posted on the High Court's website on Friday.
Hosaka served as the High Court's spokesman under three chief justices: retired chief justice and now Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, retired chief justice Diosdado Peralta and current Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo.'[Hosaka] was instrumental in ushering several initiatives that have further enhanced the dissemination of information about the Court and its activities, thus bringing the Courts closer to the public,' the High Court said.
