The claim originated from a YouTube channel named “BANAT KAPANIG TV,” which carried the headline “NABIGLA ang LAHAT DU30 BINIGYAN ng POSISYON ni PRES MARCOS/ D1LAWÀN NA-SHOCKED/ NAMUTLA sa TAKOT.”Netizens seemed to believe the videos as they congratulated Duterte in the comments section.
The video, however, never did not cite any factual basis for its claim nor did it mention anything about the supposed appointment. The 10-minute video contained clips and slideshows of photos of Marcos Jr., Duterte and opposition senator Risa Hontiveros.
