House Speaker Martin Romualdez said that he is confident that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s visit to the United States will positively affect the lives of Filipinos. | JMangaluzINQ
The House Speaker had joined Marcos Jr. on his US trip as part of his delegation and said that the President worked to promote the interest of the country during the trip.
“He wasted no time and seized all opportunities to engage with US government officials and key business leaders to secure meaningful benefits for our people,” Romualdez said. The House Speaker assured that there will be tangible benefits from the visit and that the House of Representatives will support the President’s initiatives.
“To this end, the House of Representatives is committed to pass measures to improve existing legal framework to facilitate the entry of foreign investments, thus enhancing our country’s competitive advantage in attracting foreign capital and businesses to create better-paying jobs for our people and sustain our economic growth,” Speaker Romualdez said.
