Welcome! I hope I bring a spot of calm and happiness into these uncertain times. I blog about flowers, gardening, my photography adventures, life in upstate New York, the importance of chocolate in a well lived life, or anything else on my mind.I know my readers in India and similar places love to see our trees here in the Northeast United States turn color.
Right now, I'm afraid I am going to have to disappoint for this first Thursday Tree Love of October. The way it is looking now, due to a wetter than normal summer , our color isn't going to be that great this year.As far as I'm concerned, fall is Nature's apology for the winter it's about to dish out. Apology not accepted!
Fall color is something we don't have to travel far in order to appreciate. And, who knows, maybe Nature will change its mind and I'll have something better for you next time. Before I go, I have a"guest photographer" in a rural part of our county, and she sent me this picture taken on Wednesday. Don't you love the reflection of the trees on the water?
