When you think of Rabiya Mateo, the first thing that comes to mind is “beauty queen,” followed by the words “prim” and “proper.”
Thankful for the trust and this opportunity as a newly signed GMA artist, Rabiya is excited to show a new side of herself as a first-time host on the network’s upcoming variety show “TiktoClock.”
“Gusto ko ipakita naman po iyong different side ng Rabiya. Iyong nakita kasi nila palagi, iyong poise, iyong may grace,” the beauty queen said during the show’s media conference.“Tao lang talaga ako. Nagkakamali din, and I can make fun of myself sa show na ito. So masaya lang talaga, I’m happy to be part of ‘TiktoClock.’”
Admitting that she feels the pressure of working on this show as a newcomer alongside showbiz veterans, Rabiya feels grateful that she has co-hosts“Sabi nga ni Kuya Kim, habang may kaba, meaning good thing pa kasi may passion pa sa ginagawa mo eh. Pag wala na iyong kaba, wala na iyong purpose eh. Wala na iyong fire inside of you,” she said.
“So ako, grateful ako na napabilang ako sa isang programa na tinutulungan po talaga ako ng mga co-hosts ko to be better every single time.” “TiktoClock,” GMA Network’s upcoming variety show, will air Monday to Friday starting July 25 at 11:15 a.m.
