MSSports 'Bolden stars as Filipinas thump Indonesians for 4th straight AFF win'
Sarina Bolden continued to create special moments for herself and teammates in the Philippine national women’s team in their ongoing campaign in the ASEAN Football Federation Women’s Championships 2022.
Indonesia took charge in the first half, with striker Carlo Bio Pattinasarany scoring in the 38th minute, after taking advantage of on an error by Inna Palacios.The 26-year-old Bolden kept finding opportunities to rush to the net in the second half after Indonesia drew first blood and took the early lead in the first 45 minutes of action.
The crowd went loud and on a cheering frenzy afterward as the Filipinas stepped it up and Bolden received a pass from the left side. Bolden’s final goal for the evening came after she rushed inside the box, outrunning a defending player and scoring off a rebound, and past Prihatini as she slipped and fell while trying to make an interception.
