President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. on Monday condemned the killing of four government troops in an ambush in Maguindanao del Sur over the weekend. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Marcos said the incident would strengthen the government's commitment to halt terror acts in the country.''We strongly condemn the cowardly ambush that targeted four of our courageous soldiers in Maguindanao del Sur on March 17,'' Marcos said.
''This despicable act only to strengthens our resolve to eradicate terrorism from the region and our entire nation.''Marcos said his administration remains resolute in its commitment to ensure that justice is served for the fallen soldiers. He also ensured that the necessary government assistance will be given to the slain soldiers' families.
