I believe that many politicians started out wanting to make a difference, yet once in the “swamp” some resort to misleading their constituents.
Greetings at this festive time of the year. All about peace and joy and goodwill to all. Well let’s start with good old fashioned manners. How about listening, negotiating, give and take, treat others as you would like to be treated, and demonstrating compromise as it was meant to be for the betterment of our country.
We need to take on the deficit and stop refunding a government that is spending like there is no tomorrow. What are we leaving our children and grandchildren? I am so tired of politicians spouting off words that they think their constituents want to hear, only to backtrack and operate in their best interest once elected. Our Senators and Congress people are fed and happy. They have their medical bills tended to, they have a very decent salary, they have it made in the shade.
I sure wish they would demonstrate their love and devotion to our country by managing our resources wisely. Many politicians entered the system wanting to make a difference. But once in the “swamp,” some resort to misleading their constituents and making statements which create divisiveness, not cooperating and harmonizing. We really need our leaders to pull it together. Take a step back. Would you run your household the way our politicians run the governments? Of course not. You would lose your house.
