Fifteen newly promoted flag officers and generals of the Philippine Navy formally took their oath before President and Commander-in-Chief Ferdinand Marcos
Jr. at Malacañan Palace.
“For 89 years, the Armed Forces of the Philippines has been the bedrock of our sovereignty, protecting our land, our people, and our freedom. This gathering reminds us that the true measure of service is not found in accolades, ranks, or promotions. It lies in the fulfillment of your duty to uphold the integrity of our nation and to ensure the safety and security of every Filipino citizen,” President Marcos emphasized during the ceremony.Vice Adm. Alfonso Torres Jr.
“The promotion of these exemplary leaders reflects their unwavering dedication, competence, and commitment to upholding the values of service, integrity, and excellence within the Armed Forces of the Philippines,” said Navy Spokesperson Commander John Percie Alcos.
