MANILA, Philippines — An additional 850 new infections of COVID-19 were rThese new infections put the country’s COVID-19 caseload at 4,060,236 nationwide, with 3,978,049 recoveries and 65,193 deaths.These new infections are also lower than the average daily infections recorded from Dec. 12 to 18 at 1,082.

Metro Manila still led the list of regions with the most cases in the past two weeks with 5,164 cases, followed by Calabarzon at second with 2,253 infections, and Central Luzon with 1,205.
