The Pasay City government joined the Department of Interior and Local Government’s (DILG) Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) fun run held at Block 20, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City on Sunday, Feb 26.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano joined the fun run that carried the theme “BIDA Bayanihan sa Mamamayan Fun Run at Serbisyo Caravan” together with DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos, the local police headed by Col. Froilan Uy and the city’s barangay chairmen. She said the city government is supporting the DILG’s BIDA program advocacy to end the proliferation of illegal drugs with the help of the local police.
Rubiano said the city government already declared as “drug-cleared” 99 out of the 201 villages in the city. “We join the DILG and our public sector, our beloved constituents, in this country-wide advocacy with full enthusiasm and support. Trust that Pasay City will always be with you in the road towards a drug-free society,” Rubiano said.
