The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has released P80,775,550 in social pension to 53,851 senior citizens in Negros Occidental in the past nine months.
BACOLOD CITY – The Department of Social Welfare and Development has released P80,775,550 in social pension to 53,851 senior citizens in Negros Occidental in the past nine months.
The DSWD said a total of P11,785,500 was released to 7,857 beneficiaries in the first district composed of the towns of Calatrava, Don Salvador Benedicto, and Toboso, and the cities of Escalante and San Carlos. In the third district, 8,223 beneficiaries from the towns of E.B. Magalona, Murcia, and the cities of Silay, Talisay, and Victorias got P12,334,500.
In the fifth district, P13,372,500 was released to 8,915 beneficiaries in the municipalities of Binalbagan, Hinigaran, Isabela, La Castellana, and Moises Padilla, and the city of Himamaylan.
