Presidential Task Force on Media Security executive director Paulino Gutierrez said P40,000 in cash aid came from the OP to help with the expenses of Bunduquin’s family, based on a dzBB report of Luisito Santos. On the other hand, the government is dangling P50,000 reward for information that could lead to the arrest of the triggerman, according to Gutierrez.
Meanwhile, the DSWD has donated P15,000 cash and burial assistance, and is mulling possible educational assistance for the children of the slain broadcaster. in a shooting incident in front of a sari-sari store in Calapan City early Wednesday morning. Police said that moments after the suspects fled from the crime scene, Bunduquin’s son gave a chase on the attackers and "accidentally bumped" into the motorcycle of the suspects, causing the motorbike to careen.
