The projects, which include the upgrading of various servers and installation of new radio frequency identification antennas and speed cameras, aim to enhance the processing of toll plaza transactions and implementation of traffic regulations.
An 80 kilometer-per-hour maximum limit is established for trucks and buses, while 100 kph maximum for cars/SUVs. Traffic officers use real-time data from the cameras to flag down those going beyond the maximum speed limits. Various servers at NLEX-SCTEX will also be upgraded for improved performance and reliability.
