The new NBA draft rules are complicating life for college coaches
A year ago, before the rule change, the numbers were roughly similar to this year:
"Then you also have the transfer portal," Keatts said."And so those two factors are really tough right now on coaches to be able to juggle. I'm not the only one going through it. I know a lot of coaches are. You don't know how many guys to bring in. You don't know what your needs are." "Let's say all four were testing it, that is a challenge," Bennett said.
