MANILA, Philippines — Six persons are reported dead while 19 others were missing amid the heavy rains and winds brought by the shearline.
Based on the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council’s situation report on Monday, two of the individuals who died were from Camarines Sur and four from Misamis Occidental.Three died because of drowning, one from cardiac arrest after being rescued, while the cause of the death of the remaining two is yet to be established.
Meanwhile, 10 of the missing individuals were from Catanduanes, five in Northern Samar, one in Leyte, and three in Misamis Occidental.
