Garrett’s return this early in the week means he has a good chance of playing Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium despite his sprained left shoulder and right biceps, and certainly looked upbeat in the early stretching period and drills open to the media.
He wore a white sleeve on his biceps, but didn’t appear to have the shoulder wrapped.
He wasn’t the only one with a little extra spring in his demeanor on Wednesday. Kevin Stefanski, asked if even a little bit of Garrett would be better than none, paused and said with a smile, “it’s fair to say.” As for Clowney , who didn’t practice Wednesday, Stefanski said “I hope so” about his availability for Sunday. Clowney has missed the past two games after suffering the injury vs. the Jets.
