Andre Metzger of Scottsdale shot the round of the day on the McCormick Ranch Pine Course, a bogey-free 65 that included birdies on Nos. 14, 16 and 17. Brett White of Houston and Dalton Ward of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, each shot 66 to tie for second. White had eight birdies on his card. Ward also had a bogey-free day with six birdies.'These guys really get it':
