The Medgar Evers College Educational Foundation received a $25,000 grant from the broadband cable company Spectrum last week. The Grant will be used to purchase laptops for incoming MEC freshmen students at the school and towards tutoring.
Among those on hand at the check-presentation event were : Rodney Capel, Spectrum vice president for government affairs; Dr. Patricia Ramsey, Medgar Evers College president; Public Advocate Jumaane D. Williams; State Assemblymember Phara Souffrant Forrest; Sherrill-Ann Mason, SEEK program director. Educational Foundation received a $25,000 grant from the broadband cable company Spectrum last week.
