A Lalamove driver was arrested after police seized from him some P136,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Taguig City on March 15.
The Taguig police’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the buy-bust operation at about 10 p.m. on Capistrano Extension in Barangay Hagonoy, Taguig.During the operation, the police arrested suspect Harry Nawali, 26, a Lalamove driver. Confiscated from him were five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing about 20 grams with an estimated total value of P136,000, and P500 buy-bust money.
Nawali, who is under the custody of the Taguig police, will be charged by the police for violation of Republic Act 9165 under Section 5 or the “Sale, Trading, Administration, Dispensation, Delivery, Distribution and Transportation of Dangerous Drugs and/or Controlled Precursors and Essential Chemicals” and Section 11, pertaining to “Possession of Dangerous Drugs.”

Gen. Jimili Macaraeg.
