The Taguig City government has announced a fixed rate for tricycle fare in the city under Alert Level 1.
It said that based on the Taguig City Transport Regulatory Board Resolution No. 1 for 2022, the new fixed fare for tricycle is P10 per ride from the designated terminal to the drop-off point within a zone or route.The same resolution allowed tricycles to operate at 100 percent seating capacity under Alert Level 1 starting March 1. The National Capital Region is under Alert Level 1 from March 1 to 15.
According to the Taguig City government, all tricycle operators and drivers’ associations are advised to put up posters containing the adjusted rates or fare in all designated tricycle terminals in the city and in all passenger vehicles. The Taguig Safe City Task Force issued Advisory No. 68 last March 1 on the updated list of guidelines under Alert Level in the city.“The ‘No Face Mask, No Ride’ Policy shall be strictly enforced in all modes of public transportation or employee shuttle service. Passengers and drivers who willfully disregard this policy must be refused entry or prohibited from operating any public utility vehicle ,” the Taguig task force added.
