National University seeks to bounce back after seeing its 20-game win streak snapped before its eyes in the UAAP Season 85 women’s volleyball tournament on Wednesday, March 8, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Lady Bulldogs will get the pent-up frustration off their chest following their painful loss to the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses last March 4 when they take on University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons in the finale of the quadruple-header at 4 p.m.
But the embattled UP, which earned its first win in three outings against University of the East last March 5, is hoping to extend its stay in the win column. Rookie Angel Canino has carried out the game-winning performance in the Lady Spikers’ three starts capped off by a career-best 23 points in their sweep of the Ateneo Blue Eagles last March 5.
