Interim Mobile PD Chief issues statement in response to Use Of Force report“I’m proud to work beside the men and women of the Mobile Police Department. Our officers exhibit the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and bravery every day while keeping our citizens safe. Over the last 24 hours, I’ve taken the time to review Mr. Brown’s full report and discuss it with the MPD command staff.
We are currently in the process of forming two committees to help determine a pathway forward. An internal committee made up of MPD leadership and staff will take each recommendation into consideration and come up with a plan of action. That plan would then be reviewed by an external committee made up of community members as well as professionals with a criminal justice background.
