This study has several limitations. First, only a limited number of patients were enrolled , the immune response of whom was analyzed at only a single timepoint. The COVATRHUS cohort was used to analyze immune mechanisms involved in protection against COVID-19. Twenty-nine patients, naive for SARS-CoV-2 infection, were prospectively recruited from the cohort of kidney transplant recipients of the University Hospital of Strasbourg. According to the recommendations of the French health authority, they received two doses of mRNA-1273 SARS-CoV-2 vaccine.
