The victim suffered ‘massive trauma,’ San Antonio police said.
Around 7 p.m. Friday, the San Antonio Police Department received calls about a man lying on the side of the road at 1-10 westbound and Culebra. Responding officers found an unidentified man his 30s who had suffered “massive trauma to his body,” police said.Emergency medical technicians attempted “lifesaving intervention,” but were unable to save the man, police said.
The investigation into the man’s death is “active,” the department said, and is being handled as a failure to stop and render aid.
