The playercount of Outriders is surging at the moment, with the game seeing a 10x jump thanks to a big Steam sale and the release of New Horizon, massive new patch and content update for the game that came out this week.
One of my favorite things about Outriders is that you can start doing actual “builds” for yourself very early on with only purple and blue gear, before you ever actually hit legendaries. The cost for this is extremely minimal, so there’s no reason not to constantly be changing perks in gear you find in order to get a quality build that synergizes with your weapons and abilities. It’s the difference between feeling all-powerful and struggling through sections.
There is no more risk of DPS check timer failure, but making sure you are properly leveled and geared is still the right call.Outriders is great about allowing you to try out diverse builds for really no cost at all. The entire skill tree can be respeced any time for free, so you are able to try out AP or gun builds for all classes, or build into being a tank or healer as well. Make sure you change your gear mods accordingly.
