After nearly two months on the run, Washington, D.C., police recaptured murder suspect Christopher Haynes on Thursday in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
During a news conference, U.S. Deputy Marshal Robert Dixon said Haynes was taken into custody “without incident” but declined to provide additional details about how Haynes was able to remain at large for so long and if others are being charged. Police previously said anyone who aided and abetted Haynes would also be criminally charged.
