Former senator and presidential candidate Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has not confirmed his attendance as he has a full schedule until the first week of April, according to his spokesperson Victor Rodriguez.

The first Comelec-sponsored presidential debate is on March 19. The venue has been changed from Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan province, to Sofitel Hotel in Pasay City. Each debate will tackle predetermined topics such as the pandemic and the economy, with the questions coming from concerned sector groups.He also acknowledged that, by now “some [voters] are impossible to convince because they have made up their mind[s].”

But Inting said, “We entered into an agreement with Rappler willingly and voluntarily and it underwent a review from the law department.”
