The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed that a chemical spill happened Sept. 6 in Tuscarawas County.
DOVER, Ohio - The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has confirmed that a chemical spill happened Sept. 6 in Tuscarawas County .According to the EPA, the Dover Chemical Company had a spill involving phenol-based material on Sept. 6.
The EPA said that normally, the Dover Chemical Company will discharge treated wastewater into Sugar Creek. The company is permitted to do so.
