The complaints varied from reports of violence and assault, to drug use, to generally hazardous conditions including the depositing of human waste on the property. The City of Fairbanks secured permission from the property owner to enter and remove trash and hazardous materials from the property. When people without secure housing are forced off a property by the city, certain steps are taken to make sure they have access to resources.
