The Spartans continued their dominance in the rapid event as FIDE Master Noel dela Cruz, International Master Barlo Nadera, Candidate Master Jayson Visca and Arena FIDE Master Melizah Ruth Carreon defeated their respective foes to secure the opening day win.'As Mark Shield has put it, there is always strength in numbers.
