LUCENA CITY — Burglars broke into the satellite office of Quezon Governor Angelina Tan in Gumaca town and took cash and office equipment on Saturday , a police report said Sunday .
In a report, Quezon police said the robbery incident was discovered and immediately reported to the local police station on Saturday at 7:30 a.m.The perpetrators reportedly took P50,000 intended as emergency cash assistance to local indigents and a laptop computer inside the office located in Barangay Tabing Dagat.
According to the report, the burglars broke into the office by destroying the front door padlocks and, once inside, forcibly opened the steel cabinet.
