The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) has awarded for the sixth time the provincial government of Bulacan the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) which symbolizes integrity and good performance of a local government.

The Seal of Good Local Governance is a program of the DILG that seeks to promote transparency and accountability in local governance. After four years, Bulacan was one of the recipients of the DILG’s Seal of Good Local Governance Award. The province received the plaque of recognition and the Performance Challenge Fund worth P7 million as a package of incentive from the DILG in the awarding ceremony held at the Fontana Convention Center, Clark Field Pampanga.
