The entire province of Bulacan is now under a state of calamity after most of its municipalities experienced heavy flooding brought by Super Typhoon Egay's rains, local officials announced Tuesday.

Local officials also said 16 towns and three cities were affected by heavy floods. The PDRRMC also logged two deaths during Egay's onslaught. Pampanga Gov. Dennis Pineda said the province had been battered by heavy rainfall since July 21 due to Egay, affecting over 512,000 individuals. He added that 232 barangays across 15 municipalities were flooded.Cagayan, which was placed under Signal No. 4 during Egay's onslaught, also declared a state of calamity due to damage from the super typhoon.
