A TOTAL of 113 areas in Luzon were placed under a state of calamity following the onslaught of Typhoon Egay , the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
The disaster bureau said a total of 2,452,738 persons or 668,974 families were affected by Egay, in which 50,467 individuals or 13,718 families were inside 736 evacuation centers in 4,164 barangays.
