The popular burger restaurant sports a new look at its original location at 2902 Kirby
Beginning today, Dec. 22, the burger joint at 2902 Kirby, will reopen after an extensive renovation to the restaurant’s interior, exterior, and patio spaces.“Our classically designed restaurant had remained frozen in time for 37 years since first opening on Kirby in 1985 so it was time for a refresh while still holding onto reminders of where we started,” Molly Voorhees, president of Becks Prime, Winfield’s Chocolate Bar, and co-owner of Agnes Café & Provisions, said in a statement.
The new look includes wood tables and leather banquettes set against striped red and navy blue wallpaper. Exterior updates include a new deck with seating for 48, patio lighting, a digital drive-through menu. The debut of the makeover comes on the eve of a busy holiday week. Becks Prime is now reopened for daily service, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Becks will close at 4 p.m. on Dec. 24 and all day on Dec. 25. For the year’s end, Becks will close at 7 p.m. on Dec. 31 and reopen for regular business hours on Jan. 1.
